What equipment do we bring?

Mobile Diagnostic Imaging also brings along a computer with two monitors for viewing. We utilize an analog monitor and the computer monitor. The computer generates a digital image which is then burned onto a CD for the permanent medical record. We can also utilize the computer to magnify images and replay the study in slow motion. This allows the speech pathologist and the physician to make a more accurate diagnosis of the etiology of aspiration. Furthermore the facility’s staff, speech pathologist, or the patient’s caregivers may view the entire study. This allows us to educate the staff and the caregivers.
